Connected Banking Enterprise APIs — Integration Guide
This guide describes how to integrate with Open's Connected Banking Enterprise APIs for beneficiary management (AXIS RIB only), fund transfers, banking statements, account balance, and bank account listings.
Bank Token Expiry and Re-linking
When you link a bank account to your application, the bank issues a token that authorizes access to that account. These tokens have expiry periods set by each bank. Once a token expires, you'll need to re-link your bank account to obtain a new token.
Token Validity Periods by Bank
| Bank | Token Validity |
|---|---|
| IDFC | 30 minutes |
| AXIS | 1 month |
| SBI | 1 year |
What Happens When a Token Expires?
After the token validity period ends, your linked bank account becomes inactive. Your application will require you to re-link your bank account to restore access. This re-linking process generates a fresh token and reauthorizes your account.
